The Emergency Room Encounter exists to provide immediate support and lasting solutions to individuals and families in crisis by addressing financial, educational, health, creative, and spiritual needs. We are dedicated to restoring hope, empowering growth, and building stronger communities through compassion, resources, and faith.

Our Story
​ The Emergency Room Encounter began in 2017 with a simple but powerful mission: to meet people at the point of their most urgent needs and provide hope, resources, and guidance. For years, we served our community through grassroots efforts, responding to financial, educational, health, and spiritual challenges faced by individuals and families.​
After years of growth and dedication, we officially became a nonprofit organization recognized by the State of Louisiana in July 2025. This milestone allowed us to expand our reach, strengthen our programs, and create even more meaningful impact. Today, The Emergency Room Encounter continues to serve as a safe haven for those in crisis, offering immediate support, empowerment, and a path toward stability and wholeness.
